Evangelism 101

 

 

THE GREAT COMMISSION is our personal JOB DESCRIPTION. In order to fulfill what Jesus has called every believer to do, we must be continually be filled with the Holy Ghost, His power, and His fire to get the job done! These were His final words to us in Mark 16!

 

Mark 16:15 - 19 ~ And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

 

Matthew 3:11 ~ I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

 

Acts 1:5 ~ For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

 

Acts 1:8 ~ But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

 

Acts 2:1-4 ~ And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

 

John 7:37-39 ~  In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

 

John 14:12 ~ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

 

Acts 4:29-30 ~ And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, 30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

 

Acts 10:38 ~ How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

 

Isaiah 50:4 ~ The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

 

Romans 1:16 ~ For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation, to every one that believeth.

 

Father,

In the precious Name of your Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we are not ashamed of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, we we know and cling to our belief that it is the power of God unto salvation. According to Matthew 3:11 and Acts 1:5 & 8, baptize your precious people with Your Holy Ghost and Fire, Now! 

 

Thank you for equipping Your people to get the job done! Amen!

 

Now friends, go release that fire throughout your realm of influence and gather a great harvest of souls! Who knows, you could be used of the Lord to start another Great Awakening!
